We are very happy you have decided to entrust us with the care and socialization of your dog. We take the responsibility very seriously and appreciate the fact that you have chosen us.  To that end, we’d like to give you a bit of information about how we do things at WolfBrook and why we do it.

oie_2119591608Rz0F2ABefore accepting a dog for boarding we require a minimum of one day here in daycare.

This gives your dog a chance to learn the ropes, get to know our staff and the other dogs and then go home to decompress from a very busy day.

Located on 12 acres, WolfBrook is one of the largest private dog centered facilities in Georgia. However, we are a small facility as far as the number of boarding and daycare guests we accept. This is by design. We like to get to know each dog and want them to feel like this is their favorite place to be (other than home, of course). Additionally, we don't have traditional kennel "runs" as we are a social facility. Our guest spend their day participating in daycare, out and about with the other guests and our staff.

If we think it is warranted we may require additional daycare prior to the first boarding visit. We want to be sure your dog is suited to boarding in this type of environment before taking any reservations.

oie_transparent-29We have a very flexible daycare and boarding drop-off and pick-up schedule. We understand that meetings can run late or a child's game can go into overtime, or even that you'd like to meet friends for dinner and not have to juggle the pick up of your dog into the equation. Your dog should be a relaxing factor in your life, not another deadline so we created a way to make our schedule fit with yours. Once you and your dog are comfortable with our facility we can walk you through our procedures for off-hours use of the clubhouse. We do not charge for early drop-offs or late pick ups; however, if a daycare dog is still here at the 10pm potty break you will be charged a boarding fee(an additional $15) on top of the daycare fee.

Dogs that are boarding should be dropped off no later than 3pm in order to allow for some playtime and socializing prior to bedtime. The nightly charge does include all daycare activities so if at all possible bring your dog early enough to enjoy the entire day. The dogs sleep better at night after a busy day and are more relaxed when sleeping alongside dogs they’ve been playing with all day. Boarding is charged per night and check-out for boarding is 11am, after that you are assessed a daycare fee for that day.

small bowlWe require you bring your dog’s regular food in a clearly labeled container or storage bags. Please bring just enough for the full stay plus an extra day or two in case of emergency. We ask that you not bring food in open dog food bags or grocery bags, anything that can’t be sealed isn’t acceptable. If you feed a raw diet, please bring each day’s meals packaged separately and labeled accordingly. While here, your dog will be fed once a day (unless it is a small pup or there is a medical reason).

All dogs are cooled off prior to feeding and then rested afterwards. Generally the cool off is 15 minutes prior to being fed and rest time is 30 minutes after eating. For giant or deep chested breeds we may add a bit more time to these periods.

Additionally, we are happy to administer oral or topical medications at no charge. Please bring any medications in their original container with clear instructions. If your dog requires injectable medication please call to speak with us prior to leaving your dog at WolfBrook.
